The Groundlings Theatre Pantomime comes back for another year, and this year’s production features the classic tale Beauty and the Beast.
A selfish Prince has been cursed by an enchantress, and the only thing that can rescue him is genuine love.
The intelligent and caring Belle makes the ultimate sacrifice for her father, who, as a result of a series of bad luck, has left his family impoverished and has been captured by the monster Beast while attempting to choose a rose for his beloved daughter, Belle. While stranded in an unfamiliar environment, Belle discovers a fascinating new world and, with the assistance of the castle Dame, begins to view the Beast in a new way.
Is it possible for real love to blossom when it is least anticipated, and will Belle be able to save the Beast in time? The Groundlings Theatre Trust’s creative team has created a new version of a heartwarming storey that will have you laughing, crying, shimmying, and shaking your booty.
An enchanting story of love and forgiveness based on the classic French fairy tale, La Belle et la Bête, this production will delight the whole family with endearing characters, amusing quips, and groovy musical pieces that you’ll be singing along after the curtain closes on your visit.
Bring your family and friends to Groundlings Theatre for a captivating journey and a Christmas season you would never forget…
