Hever Castle is delighted to be working with The Human Milk Foundation with visitors able to donate to the charity during the Christmas event. The Human Milk Foundation provides donor human milk to sick premature babies in over 50 NHS hospital neonatal intensive care units across England & Wales and to families at home such as mums with cancer and other health conditions through The Hearts Milk Bank.
Felicity Webster, Director of Communications said: “We’ve seen a 100% increase in the need for donor milk since the beginning of the pandemic so we are incredibly grateful to Hever Castle for choosing us as their Christmas charity for 2022. This support will help raise vital awareness of our work and the funds raised from this event will help us provide donor milk to more babies in hospital and at home.”
Christmas at Hever Castle takes place from 19 November – 6 December (Wednesday to Sunday daytime, Friday – Sunday twilight) and from 7–23 December, 27–30 December and 1-2 January (daily for daytime and twilight). Daytime only on 24 and 31 December.
