There are animal feeding and petting events, a play barn, a ball pool, and sheepdog demonstrations at the Windmill Animal Farm, which is a wonderful farm.
Since 1938, the Slinger family has made Windmill Animal Farm their permanent residence. They began out as dairy, cow, and sheep farmers, and they also provided fresh milk to the villages in their surrounding area.
When they were on a family vacation in Wales in 1990, they stopped at a farm visitor attraction. Their return home brought with it several fantastic ideas, and on the 1st of August 1992, their gates were officially opened to the public.
With an incredible variety of special breeds & exotic farm animals as well as some of the greatest indoor & outdoor play spaces in Lancashire, our farm has grown into a destination for visitors from all over the world.
Windmill Farm has provided the owners with four generations of wonderful family farmyard entertainment, and they want to share that experience with you as well.
