With its director David Temple and accompanist Rufus Frowde, the Hertfordshire Chorus once again fills the Old Palace with the joyous and uplifting sound of music. Get into the holiday spirit with a fantastic selection of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols and songs, as well as a chance to sing along with the choir. Don’t forget to savour mulled wine and mince pastries prior to the concert’s commencement.
The concert will take place in The Old Palace, a 15th-century banqueting hall previously owned by Queen Elizabeth I that retains many of its original features, including the paintwork and brickwork.
The concert begins at 4 pm; the doors will open at around 3:30 pm for the show. You will be able to choose your seat based on what is available when you arrive. Note that tickets must be purchased in advance since there will be no on-the-spot sales.
