Some Guys Have All The Luck – The Rod Stewart Story will return to theatres in 2022, more than 50 years after Rod’s debut record was released, with a brand-new production, bringing a stunning live concert tribute to one of rock music’s greatest heroes to the stage.
Rod Paul Metcalfe Handbags & Gladrags is one of the most successful artists of all time. The first half of the show includes hits such as Handbags & Gladrags and Sailing. All of this is combined with some intriguing and entertaining tales, and it takes you on a musical trip through Rod’s career over the previous five decades, from modest beginnings to superstardom. The second half is one enormous party with all of Rod’s big hits including Maggie May, Sailing or Tonight’s The Night.
Even Don Stewart, Rod’s brother, acknowledges the great performance of Paul Metcalfe, saying “Paul’s voice and mannerisms were the closest to Rod.” “It’s the best one I’ve ever seen.”
