Bekonscot Model Village & Railway Upcoming Events in 2022

The world’s oldest original model village upcoming events!

For their 2022 season, Bekonscot has a number of special events/weekends running throughout the year. From magicians to birds of prey, there will be something for everyone at Bekonscot this year.

Friday 15th to Monday 18th April

Over the Easter weekend try your hand at some traditional fairground games such as hook a duck and skittles.

Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th May

Experience the ancient Chiltern crafts of woodturning and wood carving with a demonstration by a group of “Bodgers”.

Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July

Bekonscot will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with decorations, children’s crafts and jubilee teas.

Tuesday 26th July to Thursday 25th August

Bekonscot’s favourite close up magician, Greg Chapman, will be back every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through the school summer holidays.

Saturday 27th to Monday 29th August

A spectacular range of birds of prey will be on display and hopefully flying around the model village over the bank holiday weekend.

Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th December

Santa pays his annual visit to Bekonscot.

In addition to these special events, there will be children’s craft activities in the Ed Shed during school holidays and their Toddler Takeover sessions return on Monday mornings during term time.
