This is the Admiralty Pier of Dover, this pier is actually where the the first ever person to swim the whole way across the English Channel dived in from. His name was Captain Matthew Webb and dived off the pier on 24th August in 1875. He then reached Calais after a long 21 hours and 45 minutes of swimming.
