Have Breakfast with Monkeys at Trentham Monkey Forest

Have a once-in-a-lifetime experience with your favourite primates!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet some of our closest primates in person and interact with them on a personal level? Well, at Trentham Monkey Forest, you can! This monkey conservation site based in Stoke-On-Trent gives you the rare opportunity to feed the Barbary macaque monkeys, whilst learning more about their extraordinary species. Oh, and did I mention that this will all be before opening hours, so you’ll have the place to yourselves. So if you’ve run out of gift ideas for loved ones and want to give them a unique experience, or simply want to treat yourself – read on…

But what exactly happens in the day? How many people and who can attend? Don’t fret; all you need to know will be answered in this article:

What’s the Itinerary for the day?

The day starts at 8.45 in the morning where you’ll be greeted by your guide at the main gates and taken to your experience. On the journey, you’ll get to cruise through the forest and parts of the woodland and will be shown to areas on the site that you wouldn’t get to see otherwise.

next comes the main event: feeding the resident monkeys! Whilst in the feeding session, you’ll get to learn all about your primate pals from the site’s knowledgeable guides and have one-to-one conversations. After an eventful morning, you can help yourself to a well-earned drink at the banana café using your free voucher.

After that, you’re all set and free to explore the forest again at your own leisure once the forest opens again to the general public at 10 am.
