All you need is a valid driving licence, whether UK, European, or International. You’ll enjoy unlimited runs and receive

a personal performance print-out that includes your reaction times to the start lights, 60ft, 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile times, and terminal speed.

Throughout the year, there are also specialist events and festivals incorporating Run What Ya Brung sessions. These include car-only, bike-only, and manufacturer-specific events, catering to various preferences and interests.

Street Weekend

Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2024

Following its successful debut in 2023, ‘Street Weekend’ returns for 2024, ready to crown the ultimate street king. Inspired by the renowned Hot Rod Drag Week in the US, the competition will test the limits of street-legal performance. Drivers will face a gruelling three-day challenge, starting with a timed run at Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire. They will then embark on a 200-mile journey to Melbourne Raceway in York for a second timed run, before returning to Santa Pod for a final test on day three.

Each day presents a unique track challenge: a freshly prepped surface at Santa Pod on day one, an unprepared 1/8-mile course at Melbourne on day two, and a day-three run at Santa Pod after a full day of ‘run what you brought’ racing. In total, competitors will cover approximately 400 miles on the road while pushing their machines to the limit on the track. While Street Eliminator cars are widely recognized as the fastest street-legal vehicles in the UK, can they truly handle the demands of this demanding road-and-track endurance test? ‘Street Weekend’ is set to deliver the answer.
