They’re thrilled to have International award-winning dance and circus company Overhead Project bring their new show What is Left to the UK and Circomedia. Mixing contemporary dance with group acrobatics, the show explores our relationship with different spaces and how they influence our communication. Reminiscent of a catwalk or military parade, five performers occupy the space and are simultaneously consumed by it. A rhythmic, energetic, sometimes intimate, and exhilarating performance.
Overhead Project stands for performances on the border of contemporary circus and dance – two languages that allow different perspectives on the body and a multidimensional approach towards space and architectural thinking. The works are reflections about the stage as a space of human communication and they deal with political and philosophical phenomena. Beside their numerous productions, guest choreographies for municipal theatres with large ensembles have been created. The company received multiple international awards and choreography prizes for its works.
