They are looking for some young budding egg detectives to join them in taking part in this year’s Easter trail.
Bobbin the Robin needs your help! The Easter Bunny accidentally collected the wrong eggs for Easter. They need your help to find Bobbin Robin’s friend’s eggs hidden on Old Moor.
Purchase a trail pack, follow the clues, find the eggs and help Bobbin Robin return the eggs to her friends.
You will need to use one of their specialist magnifying glasses to unscramble the eggy clues.
Are you up for the challenge young detective?
If you succeed there may be a prize waiting at the end.
Trail packs cost £3 and can be purchased at the Welcome shed at RSPB Old Moor. (Please note reserve entry fees still apply.)

RSPB Old Moor is South Yorkshire’s best-kept secret: a place to spot some wonderful nature, explore and discover with the kids or just walk around in peace and quiet. There’s lots to do as a family with their new sensory garden, playground, wild play areas and pond dipping (Easter to October). Or, discover a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy nature and take a breather; you could even try their Natural Wellbeing trail. Stop off at the café for hot food, and cake and enjoy a hot drink with a view on the balcony with stunning views across the reserve. Their shop sells a fantastic range of gifts for all ages, wrapping paper and cards and wildlife care products so you can create a nature haven in your own outdoor space and join them in giving nature a home. Car parking is free. Accessibility: Old Moor is on the Trans-Pennine Trail so is very accessible locally via foot or bike. Their paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly and they have mobility scooters available to pre-book for your visit. They have accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities. Dogs are welcome in the courtyard but not on the reserve itself. RSPB membership: the wildlife conservation work of the RSPB is possible because of the financial support from their members. Members receive complimentary free access to their 200+ nature reserves throughout the UK, including Old Moor, a quarterly magazine about the RSPB’s work and discounted ticket prices for their events. You can talk to their friendly team at Old Moor to find out more or have a look here: Join them – RSPB Membership.
