Essex Pride March 2022
2022 is the 50th anniversary of the first Pride march in the UK and to recognise, celebrate and remember the steps that have been made, Essex Pride will be holding its first march through the streets of Chelmsford as a community, stronger together and still moving forward in the fight for equality.
The March Route.
The march is an accessible route and will start in the city centre, taking in the high street, before moving through the city parks ending in Central Park at the Pride LGBTQ+ Festival event. The march is aiming to be the most inclusive and visible demonstration of the LGBTQ+ community in Essex to date.
