Immerse yourself in different periods of history with encampments and re-enactments from the Middle Ages to as recent as 20th Century. Get up close to weaponry and suits of armour and try them on for size.

Plus, falconry displays will be taking place and the Knights of Royal England will be returning to battle it out at the annual Jousting Tournament.

Jousting Tournament – FREE
The Knights of Royal England will be entertaining visitors with exhilarating displays of action, stunts, falls and fights.

Be entertained by falconry displays from Willow’s Bird of Prey Centre

Spellbound Summer – FREE
Your little ones can take part in a series of free hands-on activities.

Shield Quest – FREE
Oh no, the Knights have lost their shields. Can you help find them? You’ll need to walk all around the gardens to track them down.

Dragon Egg Hunt – Castle ticket required
Head into the Castle and see if you can spot numerous eggs that have been laid by the dragon.
