If you are looking for a fun and exciting way to spend your Saturday, look no further than the Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby 2024.
This annual event, presented by Hessle Town Council and organised by Hull4Heroes, is a race for amateur teams who design and build their own soapbox carts, or “bogeys”, and compete for glory and prizes.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 15th June 2024.
The Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby is not only a thrilling spectacle, but also a great way to support a worthy cause. All the proceeds from the event go to Hull4Heroes, a charity that helps veterans of the British Armed Forces with their transition back into civilian life and regular employment.
The event will take place at the Humber Bridge, starting at 10am. Teams will participate with their own unique and creative soapbox cart.
You can expect to see plenty of thrills and spills, as well as some impressive feats of engineering and craftsmanship. You can also enjoy food, drinks, music, and entertainment throughout the day.
