As part of Wildlife Gathering, discover the hidden animals, birds, insects and plants that inhabit the City – brought to life in living moss murals. Artist Mosstika’s playful living creations are hidden around the ring road, linking vital green spaces and pocket parks along the 1 mile trail.
Pick up your SPOTTERS GUIDE and see if you can find the rare Bechstein Bat, Peregrine Falcon and Otters as you go. Maps will be available from the Tourist Information pod, the Assembly Festival Garden and from City Hosts located on Spon Street, the Linear Park and Swanswell Park. The trail map will also be downloadable online very soon!
The trail will be active from Friday 20th May. City Hosts will have maps available in the above locations from 9.30am-5.30pm on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May.
Why not take part in the Foraging and Folklore For World Bee Day storytelling sessions on Friday and Folklore and Animal Tales on Saturday and discover more about the animals you spot along the route!
