Forming part of the exhibition is the queer info shop, a contemporary network of LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals, who have been working together with Crescent Arts to curate a new section of community-made and heritage-informed artworks. By connecting the work of the Queer Infoshop with the collaborative curation of the collection, Always Been Here seeks to generate a redefining sense of queer ownership and joy within public spaces and our collections.
This project is a partnership between Scarborough Museums and Galleries and Crescent Arts.
