To celebrate Heritage Open Days Coventry Transport Museum will be free to enter for all visitors on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. 14 fully accessible galleries are home to the fastest vehicle in the world, pioneering bicycles, transport champions and many of the most innovative, memorable and luxurious vehicles of the last 200 years.
They will also be offering the following guided tours on both days:
11.00am and 2.00pm – Astounding inventions
A tour showcasing the astounding inventions on display within the museum, including JK Starley’s Rover Safety Cycle and Royal Salvo Quadracycle, featuring the ingenious differential gear.
12.00pm and 3.00pm – Land speed recorder breakers!
