What to Do at Cotswold Wildlife Park
Meet the Animals!

The Park’s 160 acres of parkland are home to a wide variety of animals, many of which are endangered in the wild. Keepers at the zoo are enthusiastic about the creatures they care for and the chance to educate the public about them.
The park is split into four sections: Birds, Mammals, Primates & Small Mammals, and Reptiles & Amphibians. Each section with its own team of keepers. See 93 different species of bird, meet the park’s giraffes, camels, and lions, and much more.
Trail through the beautiful Gardens

Animals aren’t the only show-stopper at this wildlife park. Around the Victorian Manor House at the centre, is a large walled garden filled with a collection of colourful and mature trees, setting the foundation for the park’s beautiful landscape.
Cotswold’s gardening team has made it a point to plant in and around many of the animal exhibits.
Be A Keeper

What’s even more exciting is that the park is now offering exciting new opportunities to care for the animals and meet their keepers! From being a keeper for a day to adopting animals, there are many ways that you can actively get involved.
As a part of their ‘Keeper For a Day’ experience, you’ll get the chance to spend a whole day working alongside the zookeepers on a one-to-one basis. Much of the day will consist of feeding some of the animals, as well as learning about the types of enrichment approaches they use to keep them happy and healthy.
There are Keeper experiences for different age groups.
Bring the Classroom to Cotswold

For a self-guided visit, an instructive session, or an end-of-term treat, the Park is the ideal location to bring your classroom work to life. And better yet – The children won’t even realise that they’re learning.
