Symphonic Six at the CBSO Centre

Forming part of the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival, Symphonic Six present an evening of jazz classics from the 1930s, including music by John Kirby, Raymond Scott and Duke Ellington. Sit back and relax while this fabulous six-piece band perform a selection of well known classics including John Kirby’s “Bounce of the Sugar Plum Fairy”, Duke Ellington’s version of “Solveig’s Song” from Peer Gynt and other classics that have been given a twist by jazz musicians who took their inspiration from the classical masters.
